The Director of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Mr. Anil Kumar Sinha, reminds us that according to Interpol workshops, transnational terrorist incidents have resulted, in 40 years, in the death of more than 65 000 people. Moreover, fake medicines are responsible each year for the death of 10 000 to 100 000 people. The director of the CBI notes the ramification of the global threat is more pronounced in developing countries and under developed nations than in other countries. Furthermore, there is a risk that transnational organized crime, in addition to be a plague from which no region or country is immune, harm the economy.
