Fake Humira ® (adalimumab) of the laboratory AbbVie, was found in Germany. The turnover engendered by this medicine amounts to 11 billion dollars in 2014. Humira ® is a medicine used, among others, to handle the rheumatoid arthritis and the psoriasis. Those counterfeit medicines possibly come from Poland and from Turkey. They contain, according to the lab testing, the active ingredient but a fake batch number bearing an expiry date extended to May, 2016. Furthermore, the batch number on the secondary packaging does not match that on the primary blisters.
