Internet: NABP issued its report on rogue internet drug outlets and illegal purchase of medication online

The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) released its Internet Drug Outlet Identification Program Progress Report for State and Federal Regulators in July 2016. NABP reviewed 11,299 online drug outlets selling prescription drugs and revealed that almost 96% have been classified as “not recommended” websites. The classification relates to websites out of compliance with State and Federal laws. They recommend to check the list of approved websites with .pharmacy domain name.
