Enforcement: Dismantling of a network of medicine counterfeiters in Hong Kong

Acting on information, the Hong Kong customs led a two days raid in an industrial building in Cheung Sha Wan were medicines were stored for sale. The raid permitted the seizure of around 64.000 suspected counterfeited pills worth about 200.000 US$.
In addition, a test-buy operation organized by the customs led to the seizure of 1.000 counterfeited pills valued at 4.000 US$ and to the arrest of two men and two women; if recognized guilty, they could be risking a maximum fine of 500.000 US$ and imprisonment for five year.
